What is Streaming?
Streaming is a technology used to deliver content (especially video and audio material) to computers and mobile devices over the internet without having to download it. It is what you do when you watch Netflix or listen to a podcast. Our media content is stored in “The Cloud” and is streamed to your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. When you stream media your device receives data constantly, like a radio or television. You can listen to or view the media, but you cannot save it to a device for playback later. Since the media is not stored, you are free to play it on any device that has an internet connection after you log in to your Streaming account. You are not purchasing the digital media, but rather you are renting or leasing it. You do not own it.
