Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D.

This workshop, which replaces an earlier one on Helen’s poetry (1986), presents many of Helen’s inspired poems in the context of their setting, their relationship with A Course in Miracles, and with Kenneth. Also included are many of Kenneth’s personal reminiscences of Helen, culminating in a discussion of her death, along with a reading of her poem, “Requiem.” Of particular interest are the poems that reflect Helen’s love-hate relationship with Jesus, as well as those written for special occasions such as Christmas and Easter. Every one of Helen’s poems reflects the teachings of A Course in Miracles, and thus the poetry offers students another presentation of its message of undoing the ego’s guilt and hate through forgiveness and love. The set also includes a separate reading by Kenneth of all the poems discussed in the workshop.

Come now, my Love, and save me from despair.
The Way, the Truth, the Life are with me then.
The journey is forgotten in the joy
Of endless quiet and your kiss of peace.
