The Conductor and the Orchestra: The Music of Forgiveness [AUDIOSTR]

This workshop was developed around the metaphor of three orchestras: Heaven’s symphony of one note—the song of prayer; the ego’s orchestra of dissonance, reflecting its music of specialness and highlighting the principle of separate and different interests; and Jesus’ orchestra of forgiveness with its sweet sounds of shared interests, wherein our separate instruments blend into the single melody that heralds our return home. Nauseated by the ego’s discordant sounds, we finally choose to join our voices with Jesus as he joyfully sings to our Father:

And as each one elects to join with me, the song of thanks from earth to Heaven grows from tiny scattered threads of melody to one inclusive chorus from a world redeemed from hell, and giving thanks to You.
