Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D.
This five-day Academy class focuses on the symphonic nature of our lives, with the theme of our life’s symphony being enunciated in our earliest memory. This theme—almost always one of victimization—goes through a quasi-endless series of variations that comprise the fabric of our experience here. Despite the profound wrong-minded investment in being unfairly treated, we can yet learn the right-minded response of forgiveness that cancels out this memory, substituting the Holy Spirit’s present memory that awakens us from the ego’s dreams of separation and specialness. Questions and discussion on related topics, such as the metaphysics of time, punctuate the presentation.
Memory, like perception, is a skill made up by you to take the place of what God gave in your creation. And like all the things you made, it can be used to serve another purpose, and to be the means for something else. It can be used to heal and not to hurt, if you so wish it be.
